Madrid (Spain) / 1974 Art Director and Illustrator Patricia studied Graphic Design at Tracor Art School and worked as Art Director at Wysiwyg publicity agency and Organicfields studio until 2009. That year she attended Bologna Children’s Book Fair and decided to focus exclusively in children’s literature. She studied under great literary and illustration masters like Isol, Kveta Pacovska or Kitty Crowther. In 2010 and 2011, her first published albums were selected for The Illustrators Exibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. Since then she has published more than twenty books. She has received a prize from Fundación Cuatro Gatos for her book Piara, illustrated for Museo Reina Sofía de Madrid, and has had exhibitions at Museo ABC and Biblioteca Nacional in Madrid, and at Itabashi Art Museum in Japan. She shares her passion for illustrating children’s literature by teaching about illustrated albums at different universities in Madrid and Granada. |
